How many bags of Silversoft bedding should I use for my initial stall set-up?

Why is Miscanthus so absorbent?
Miscanthus bedding is highly absorbent due to several factors: Miscanthus has a high surface area, Its structure allows effective moisture absorption. Miscanthus is rich in cellulose, and holds water well. Because it is porous in nature, this fibrous, porous nature traps moisture. Miscanthus is very low density and lightweight, this texture improves air circulation and moisture retention. These natural properties resists clumping, and maintain absorbance over time.
How does absorbency help reduce my costs?
HIghly absorbent Miscanthus is able to absorb 4x its' weight in moisture making it substantially more absorbent than wood shavings and straw. In fact, the bedding is so absorbent, moisture is held in an extremely compact area allowing you to surgically remove the wet material and back fill with dry material without wasting any clean material.
